Around 2006 I began to be interested in the symbolic content of pictures. I improved my picture-competence to analyze their endless semiosis.
What kind of information gives us the picture and how can we decode it in an unsubjective way? In which way is our attention and focus on pictures influenced by cultural circumstances? Can there be any truth in a picture in times of reproducibility and easy to manipulate media?
To explore the form-theoretical aspects of pictures I started to overpaint selected photographs. My Intention was to contrast…, filter and intensify their different visual components.
I came aware that I didnt just chase a language…; I followed an Esperanto of visual Aisthetics…, the unified code underlying the images…
